Using pureLED Hipower 10 nodes, Light Application helped West Australian artist Stuart Green light his sculpture Night Falling in Port Hedland.
Night Falling projects stylised evening skies with lightened horizon lines that slide up and down the structure in time with the 6m plus tides of the area to create a visually poetic tide indicator.
Lighting functionality can be remotely operated to override normal lighting shows as part of the MRWA cyclone warning system. They can remotely connect to it via 3G and change it to solid blue, yellow, or red to indicate the current cyclone warning level, which are a yearly event in this location.
